Homemade Granola Gift

I made some homemade granola for a friend's birthday. For the granola recipe see January 13, 2012 post.  I put the granola in one of those inexpensive Ziplock plastic containers. But I decided to "glam up" the package.

I tied the box with a wide pink satin ribbon and polka dot rick rack. Then I glued a big rhinestone onto the middle of the ribbon.

I taped the gift tag on the side of the container and added another rhinestone. Just because you bring someone something in a plastic container doesn't mean it has to be boring!
