My True Love Gave to Me Two Turtle Doves

On the second day of Christmas my true love gave to me two turtle doves.

Supply List:

rectangle pieces of wood

light blue paint

paint brush

number 2 sticker

modge podge

hot glue gun

glue sticks

turtle beads or buttons

small plastic doves

thin white satin ribbon

Directions:

Paint the rectangle wood pieces with some light blue paint. I bought the wooden rectangles at Hobby Lobby.

Once the paint is dry - the number 2 sticker can be added and it is helpful to Modge Podge the sticker on so that it is totally adhered.

Then the turtle bead and little plastic doves can be hot glued onto the painted rectangle.

The turtle beads are from Michael's. Perhaps you could also get some cute turtle buttons at a fabric store.

The dove's are from the Mission section at Michael's.

On the back of the ornament hot glue a little ribbon loop.

FYI - A turtle dove symbolizes love and faithfulness. They mate for life and work together to build nests and raise their young together.
