Beaded Snowflake Ornaments - Day 3 of the Twelve days of Ornaments

These little snowflakes are really easy to make and would look pretty on a package instead of a bow.

Supplies:

white wire

beads

scissors

glue gun and glue sticks

rhinestone buttons

Directions:

Cut 4 pieces of wire into equal sized pieces. Then tie the wire into a knot in the middle.

Now spread the pieces of wire apart.

Start beading and twist the end of each beaded wire into a circle.

I used two different sizes when beading the snowflakes.

There is an unsightly wire knot in the middle of each snowflake.  So heat up the glue gun.

Hot glue a rhinestone button in the middle of each snowflake over the unsightly wire knot.

The flower gemstones also looked pretty over the wire knot.

Here is a close up of the knot.  Now you see why the knot needs to be covered by a rhinestone button.

The rhinestones really make the snowflakes pop! I am going to use silver ribbon to make the hanging loops.
