Beaded Peace Sign Ornaments - Day 4 of the Twelve Days of Ornaments

I have made these ornaments with red, green and pastel beads - but you could use small beads and make them into necklaces and use your favorite colors to make them! Peace be with you!

These ornaments are so simple to make. They also look darling tied onto a Christmas gift.

Supply List:

Beads

Wire (I used 20 and 26 gauge)

Wire cutter

Needle nose pliers

Coordinating ribbon

Directions:

Cut a piece of wire a little larger than the size of the circle that you want. Twist one end so that the beads don't slide off.

Beads often go on sale or use a coupon to buy them.

The wire is always in the bead/jewerly section at the craft store.

Once your cirle is complete - wrap the wire together and twist around  - cut off any excess with the wire cutter. Use the needle nose pliers to squeeze the wire so that the ends are secure.

Cut a piece of wire a little larger then needed - bead and attach to the top and bottom using the needle nose pliers to secure the ends.

Twist a piece of wire that will be used to make the final peace sign section. Bead each side and cut off the excess wire with the wire cutters and use the needle nose pliers to secure the ends.

You can use all sorts of beads to make Peace Signs!

These wire Peace Signs would also look fantastic threaded onto a thick ribbon to make a garland.

In about 2 hours I made over 25 ornaments.

Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called children of God. Matthew 5:9
