Tombstone Peeps

I have packaged Peeps almost every holiday. It is such a simple project. This Halloween I packaged the Tombstone Peeps.

The Halloween Peeps also come in pumpkins and ghosts. i simply package the peeps in cellophane bags and tie them with a coordinating ribbon.

These Peeps would also look on top of cupcakes. 

This is a super easy party favor for the classroom or sports team. Boo!

Six or Seven Super Easy Holiday Ideas

The first idea is to make Peep lollipops. You will need Holiday Peeps, lollipop sticks, plastic bags and coordinating ribbon. You can buy everything you need at your local craft store. They sell the peeps at Target and grocery stores.

I used the Gingerbread Peeps. They also have Christmas Tree and Snowman peeps. Simply put your Peep on a lollipop stick, place a plastic bag over the Peep and tie with coordinating ribbon.

I also glued a little candy cane onto the ribbon. I bought the little candy canes at Michael's near the little wood section.

Next I filled a bunch of 1 x 8 inch tubes with assorted candy. You can order these 1 x8 inch bags off a variety of websites. I filled them with holiday m&m's, sour cherry candy, yogurt covered raisins and chocolate covered blueberries. I bought all the candy except for the m&m's at Sprouts.

Using the red organic lollipops from Trader Joe's I glued a little wreath on top of the lollipop wrapper.
I bought the little wreaths at Hobby Lobby - they were near the holiday stickers.

I filled some little bags with chocolate covered almonds. I bought the chocolate covered almonds at Trader Joe's. The bags and ribbon are from Michael's and the little bells are from Pier 1 Imports.

I also put some chocolate covered cherries in to little bags. These were so yummy - I ate a few while I was filling the bags. Actually I ate quite a bit of candy while I was working on all of these projects. Then I started to feel a little gross. So I stopped!

My last project was reindeer noses. I filled pretzel bags with a chocolate covered cherry and malt balls. I bought the cherry and malt balls at Sprouts. The ribbon and pretzel bags are from Michael's.

Peeps Rice Crispy Treats for Halloween

Today I made some Rice Crispy treats for Halloween with chocolate, sprinkles and Peeps.

I almost always use the store bought Rice Crispy treats. They fit the Peeps perfectly.

While the chocolate is melting - I unwrap the Rice Crispy treats and separate the Peeps. I lay everything out on parchment paper and find my Halloween sprinkles.

Dip the Rice Crispy treats in the melted chocolate and sprinkle with Halloween themed sprinkles and press the Peep on top of the Rice Crispy treat.

Once everything is dry you can package the treats into little bags and tie with ribbon. My mouth was watering while I was making these. Make these for your neighbors, the kids in classroom, your kids sports team or for party favors at your Halloween soiree.

Make them for all your favorite Peeps!

Halloween S'more Peep Treats

Today I made some Halloween S'more Peep treats. I know that many of you made these with Easter Peeps.

In a plastic bag you add two Graham Cracker squares, a Hershey bar and a ghost Peep. I recommend the ghost Peep instead of the pumpkin Peep. The ghost Peeps pull apart easier and fit perfectly next to the Hershey bar.

On the back of the Graham Cracker I put a piece of orange paper with the s'more directions.

Isn't this an easy idea? Make these for all your Peeps.

Another tip is to tie your plastic bag with an orange ribbon. I happened to find the orange polka dot ribbon in my ribbon box. Score! At first I tied the bags with black ribbon and it made the s'more kits look a little blah. The orange ribbon really makes the treat POP!

I also used an orange paper to write the directions. I cut the paper with my scallop paper cutter and it was almost the exact size of the Graham Cracker! I just love it when things work out perfectly! Boo!

Ghost Lollipop

This is the easiest Halloween treat you will ever make!

You will need some Ghost Peeps, lollipop sticks, ribbon and little bags.

Grab a box of Ghost Peeps and stick a lollipop half way up each Ghost! Boo!

Pop the Ghost lollipop into a plastic bag and tie it with a black or orange ribbon. Boo! What could be easier?

This is a fun treat to make for the classroom. sports team or for a Halloween party favor. Make these for all of your favorite Peeps! It's so easy ask your kids to help you with this project. Boo!

Peeps and Rice Crispy Treats

I made these treats for a CCD class that I teach on Tuesday afternoons. The kids loved them! I needed them for a 4 o'clock class - so I did a little cheat.

My cheat was I used the pre-made Rice Crispy treats.  So the first thing that I did was remove the wrappers and lay the Rice Crispy treats on parchment paper. Then I melted some white chocolate.

I placed the popsicle stick into a little melted chocolate and pushed it up about 1/4 the way up the Rice Crispy treat.  While I was waiting for the popsicle sticks to set - I separated the Peeps. And found some coordinating sprinkles.

The Peeps fit perfectly on the Rice Crispy treats!

Then I spread melted white chocolate on top of Rice Crispy treat and added sprinkles - then I pressed the Peep on top of the Rice Crispy treat.

Once the Peep is set on the chocolate and completely dry - you can package them in little bags and tie with coordinating ribbon. This project took less then a half hour to make 16 Peep Pops!

Make these for all your peeps!

Peep's S'more Kit

These are so simple to make - add two graham cracker squares, a small Hershey bar and a bunny Peep! I found some bags that were the right size and some light pink ribbon in my craft area.

The Hershey bars come in an 8 pack of small individually wrapped bars. You can find them at Target or your local grocery store in the candy section. Peep's come in a wide assortment of colors - pink, purple, blue, green etc. Buy the bunny Peeps - the chick Peeps are too bulky to use in a s'more.

We microwaved the graham crackers, chocolate bar and Peep. Christian was so excited to eat his s'more. I was like - wait Mom needs to take a picture! Thus, the messy graham cracker!

These are a delious Easter treat. You could also place the Peep's on skewers and roast them over a fire  - just like you do with regular marshmallows.

I made a huge pile of Peep S'mores! I asked my friend today if she wanted me to make these for her Habitat for Humanity bake sale and she said yes, because everyone is signing up to bring brownies. So if anyone is having a school or church fundraiser - these would probably be a big hit! I think I might make these for Christian's class.

On the back of the s'more package - I taped some directions.

The directions that I typed up:

Place one graham cracker on a microwave safe plate. Then top the graham cracker with the chocolate bar and bunny peep.

Microwave for about 10-15 seconds until the Peep puffs up.

Remove from the microwave and top with the second graham cracker. Enjoy!
