Tennis Team Emergency Kits

Tomorrow is our last USTA match of the season - so I made all of the ladies little Tennis Emergency Bags! These were so simple to make and you can get everything you need at Target or a drugstore that carries little travel size items. 

Each kit contains a hand sanitizer, sunscreen, Chapstick, nail file, two bandaids, two hair ties and a granola bar.

I put all of the items in a cellophane bag.  

I tied each cellophane bag with yellow and white ribbon.

Made some simple labels. And my little tennis gift is ready for the ladies on the team.

I hope we win tomorrow! It is going to be HOT!

Another Tennis Party Favor

Tomorrow I am going to another tennis party. So when I bought the yellow candies that I put in the little jars for the tennis party a few weeks ago - I bought extra yellow candies for the tennis party tomorrow. And I made these cute little candy tubes.

I filled some 1 x 8 inch cellophane bags with some yellow six lets that I bought at Party City.

I punched out some yellow circles. I used the punch that was just a little bigger than a quarter.

I added a tennis ball sticker to the yellow circle. And taped the yellow circle onto the yellow candy tube.

This particular tennis team members also won a "good sportsmanship" award.

So everyone got a "good sportsmanship" tennis bag or luggage tag. 

Tennis Team Party Favors

I made some party favors for a teens team party this Tuesday. I happened to have everything at my house for this project except the yellow candy. I had the little jars left over from some little project, the yellow paint leftover from the tennis ball Christmas ornament and the yellow balls from a very long time ago!

The first thing that I did was paint the silver jar lids with several coasts of yellow paint.

I save pieces of cardboard to use for my paint projects.

I bought these tennis ball cupcake toppers along time ago! And I had a ton left over form the cupcake project.

So I broke the bottom portion off! So that I could hot glue the tennis ball on top of the lid.

While the paint was drying and the hot glue setting up - I went to Party City to buy some yellow candy to fill all the little jars.

I filled the little jars with the yellow Sixlets.

Then I found the perfect basket and put all of the little jars in the basket to bring on Tuesday. I feel so organized. 

I had the little jars left over from another project - but I am pretty sure they came from the wedding favor section at Michael's. If you did not want to paint the lids you could cover the top of the lid with a round piece of scrapbook paper and hot glue a piece of ribbon around the lid.

Lacrosse Gift Card

I made a gift card for Christian's friend that plays Lacrosse. Once again I wrapped a piece of cardboard, wrapped a few candy bars and taped a gift card in the corner!

I taped some Lacrosse sayings on the candy bars. 

This presentation always makes a big hit! 

I took more pictures of this gift with my phone and about 4 days ago my phone went completely dead- I lost everything, contacts, photos and my lists. I had lists for everything! Target, Trader Joe's, Ralphs, Sprouts, books I wanted to read, blogs I wanted to check out, floral arrangements I wanted to make etc. I was so upset I wanted to cry. But I didn't. I bought a new phone and  I am trying to put the pieces and lists back together. 

Gift For A Cosmic Bowling Party

This is a unique way to bring a gift card to a party. Simply save pieces of cardboard, gift wrap and scrapbook paper. And you will be able to recycle cardboard.

I wrapped the cardboard in a striped wrapping paper and wrapped the candy bars with white wrapping paper.

Then I found some bowling pins pictures off the internet and taped the pins onto scrapbook paper and taped them onto the candy bars.

I just Googled bowling pin coloring pages. Then I decided to turn the gift from a horizontal gift into a vertical gift.

In the bottom corner the gift card is taped down and in the upper corner on yellow paper is a Happy Birthday message.

This is a really creative way to give a gift card! I make these all the time!

March Madness Treat

I simply wrapped some Hershey bars in basketball scrapbook paper. In the past I have also wrapped Kit Kat bars and the movie sized boxes of candy.

These are great snacks when watching the basketball game or fun basketball prizes. They are also a wonderful team treat!

Tennis Themed Granola Bars

I wrapped some scrapbook paper around some granola bars and added a little tennis ball tag for a good luck treat for the team.

For this project you will need:

Granola bars

Scrapbook paper (solid yellow and two patterns)

Circle cutter

Scalloped circle cutter

Tape

White Sharpie pen

Scissors

I used some Kashi Granola Bars.

Using one of your patterned papers - cut a pattern to wrap around the granola bar.

Tape the scrapbook paper around the granola bar.

Cut out the yellow tennis ball circles and draw the white line with the Sharpie pen. Cut out a scalloped circle. Tape the tennis ball to the scalloped circle.

Simply tape the tennis ball tag to the granola bar. I always keep granola bars in my tennis bag. It is so easy to grab a quick bite on the change overs.

This is a cute treat to make for any sports team! Soccer, baseball, basketball, softball would all be cute to make with this project.

Granola bars come in so many fun flavors! I like the Kashi and Luna bars.

Sunflower Seed Cones for the Baseball Team

I was going to make these treats for Christian's baseball team before Easter and I was going to add green and orange ribbon to make it look like a carrot. However, we went away for the Easter holiday and I never got around to making my "carrot" treat.

Because I ended up making this snack after the Easter holiday - I decided to use a red ribbon because red is the team color.

I bought the cone shaped cellophane bags at Hobby Lobby, the sunflower seeds from Target and the ribbon from Michael's.

The boys can keep these in their bags and I kept an extra bag for my husband - he likes also likes sunflower seeds at the game.

Hockey Themed Gift Wrap

Last night Christian went to a party at Big Air for his friend's birthday party. His friend plays hockey so we bought him a Gamestop gift card and I put the gift card on a huge piece of cardboard with a hockey theme!

I save pieces of cardboard and I wrapped two pieces of cardboard in silver wrapping paper and taped them together.

I bought the hockey player cutout and candy at Party City.

I taped little pieces of candy all over the silver wrapping paper. Party City sells little pieces of candy 15 pieces for a dollar. In the upper right corner I taped the gift card and in the upper left corner I taped a NHL rubrics cube. The middle needed a little something - so I added a huge blue bow! I bought the bow and rubrics cube at Party City.

Basketball Treats for the Team

 

Each week I email the team  parents - can anyone bring a small snack? So far only one other mom has helped out. So each week I have brought a small snack. Last week I wrapped Hershey bars with basketball scrapbook paper - I didn't post it because I did this in the past and I used the exact same scrapbook paper.

So I have been trying to use things that I already had - so I had these orange candy sticks left over from a Duck's Hockey Gift wrap. So I decided to add a basketball and make it the snack this week.

Using my big circle punch I quickly punched out large orange circles and made the lines with a black Sharpie. Then I taped the basketball onto the orange candy stick.

I bought the candy sticks at Party City - in the wedding section - they have every color of the rainbow. I think these would also make cute party favors or March Madness treats.

I made basketballs - but you could easily make soccer balls, tennis balls, baseballs etc.

Gift Card for a Soccer Friend

Lately I have been taping the gift card to Gatoraide bottles. It is a fun idea to do
for sports minded friends!

I have a big sports box and when I dug into my sports box - I found a soccer ornament and some soccer candy. When I was at Michael's this week I found that cute soccer pen.

I taped the gift card to back of the Gatoraide bottle.

It is a little hard to see - but I taped the pen to the front of the Gatoraide bottle and the soccer ball candy is around the bottom of the bottle.
